Our Privacy Policy explains how Bowtie Inc. and its Affiliates and subsidiaries collect, store, use, disclose and otherwise process information about you in the course of our business including through our websites that link to this notice (such as trybowtie.com), the Bowtie Platform, and our marketing and sales activities (collectively, our “Services”). It also sets out important information about your privacy rights.

• Essential Cookies: these are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website.

These cookies primarily record aggregate and anonymous statistical data, but do capture a minimal amount of identifiable information such as order IDs.

• Bowtie Inc. collects and uses various categories of personal information to enhance user experience, provide targeted services, and maintain the integrity of our platform. Firstly, when you engage with our Social Media Pages, we obtain Social Information, primarily employing it for analytics and communication. Payment Information is collected to facilitate transactions, particularly for processing payments, which occasionally involves the involvement of third-party payment processors. Direct interactions allow us to amass Communication Information, ensuring we can efficiently deliver our services and respond to your queries. Additionally, as users interact with our Services, we gather Technical Information, crucial for our analytical endeavors, platform moderation, and the prevention of fraudulent or malicious activities. Lastly, during the provision of assistance or support related to our Services, we might collect Support Information, which is pivotal for enhancing service quality, offering dedicated support, and promptly addressing user needs.

• For all the aforementioned categories, we occasionally disclose pertinent information to our Affiliates. Moreover, certain categories like Payment and Technical Information might also be shared with third-party payment processors and analytical service providers, respectively.

In addition, from time to time, we may analyze the general behavior and characteristics of users of our Services and share aggregated information like general user statistics with third parties, publish such aggregated information or make such aggregated information generally available. We may collect aggregated information through the Services, through cookies, and through other means described in this Privacy Policy.

33. REQUEST FOR ACTION.

34. To request access or deletion of your Personal Information, please contact us at info@trybowtie.com. We reserve our right to limit our facilitating such requests to that which is required by applicable law.

In order to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access or deletion, we may require you to verify your identity before we will process any request to know or delete Personal Information. If we cannot verify your identity (and, where applicable, proof of residency) to our satisfaction, we will not provide or delete your Personal Information.

36. You may submit a request to know or delete your Personal Information through an authorized agent. Such an agent must present signed written authority to act on your behalf and must be able to verify your identity (and, where applicable, proof of residency) to our satisfaction.

37. We will not discriminate against you for making any such request.


38. SECURITY. We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your Personal Information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information which may include: physical access controls, encryption, intrusion detection and network monitoring depending on the nature of the information and the scope of processing. Our staff who may have access to your information are required to keep that information confidential.


39. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION. We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may also retain your personal information for legitimate business interests, such as to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain our records. When we no longer need your Personal Information, we will delete it or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable laws, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing, until deletion is possible.


40. CHILDREN. Our websites and services are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. Counsel AI does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16. If you have reason to believe that a minor under the age of 16 has provided Personal Information to Counsel AI through our Services please email us at info@trybowtie.com and we will endeavor to delete that information from our systems.


41. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES. Our Services may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Counsel AI, including social media services (“Third Party Sites”). The information that you share with Third Party Sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the Third Party Sites and not by this Privacy Policy. By providing these links we do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed these sites. Please contact the Third Party Sites directly for information on their privacy practices and policies.


42. INTERNATIONAL USERS. By using our services governed by this Privacy Policy, you understand and acknowledge that your Personal Information will be transferred from your location to our facilities and servers in the United States.


43. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will post an updated version on this page, unless another type of notice is required by applicable law or contractual agreement. By continuing to use our service or providing us with Personal Information after we have posted an updated Privacy Policy, or notified you by other means, you consent to the revised Privacy Policy.
